Intervention Services

Centerstone’s Intervention Services help individuals in the throes of addiction face their destructive behaviors and recognize their impact on those around them.

The Interventionist, along with the help of family and friends, confronts the individual and encourages them to accept the treatment they need for recovery.

Services include:

What to Expect

Initial Consultation
Interventionists gather information on the client, assessing the current situation and discussing various treatment options.

The Preparation Stage
After establishing the need, the Interventionist advises on the most appropriate treatment facility and facilitates admission. Then team members are assembled and educated on the condition through meetings or phone consultations. This team could include family members, friends, or co-workers – anyone who has a shared goal of getting the addicted person into a therapeutic treatment program.

The Intervention
The interventionist leads and guides the group in communicating how destructive behaviors have affected them and delivering a message of hope for life-changing treatment.

Guided by the skilled interventionist, the team provides motivation for immediate steps toward recovery. Participants may be asked to read prepared statements or letters, detailing why it’s urgently necessary to get help.

Accompany Client To Treatment Program
Interventionists can provide transportation to the treatment facility, ensuring a smooth transition. Treatment length and referral is individualized to best meet the needs and circumstances of the child or adult.

Aftercare
Involving all participants, the Interventionist spends time discussing the events of the intervention and plans for staying positive in the months and years ahead. Aftercare arrangements are also established.
