| This program is dedicated to providing treatment alternatives for chemically dependent offenders who have long-standing histories of chemical dependency coupled with criminal behaviors and in some cases, co-occurring mental illness. Professionals who collaborate within the program are psychologist, psychiatrist, addictions therapists and technicians, community corrections case managers and nurse practitioners. | ||
| Eligibility: To be referred a candidate should understand that non-compliance may resulr in a court review and incarceration, should have a history of non-violent criminal behavior and conviction, should have the intellectual capacity to participate, should have a commitment to successful completion of the program, should have good physical health, and may have a history of previously unsuccessful substance abuse treatment. | ||
