| Strengthening Families is a science-based family skills training program designed to increase resiliency and reduce risk factors by improving family relationships, parenting skills and improve the youth's social and life skills. The grant funded program serves families with children ages 8-14 who are considered at-risk for early initiation of problem behavior and lack of commitment to school due to factors such as: truancy, poor academics, aggressive or violent behavior, witness or victim of violence, product of teen pregnancy, imminent risk of state custody, substance abuse and others issues. | ||
