Indiana Opioid Crisis Response Team Event Announced

Nurse helping woman with her Medication Assisted Addiction Recovery treatment

On April 24, 2018, at the Brown County Public Library, Centerstone’s Opioid Crisis Response Team will present “You Are Not Alone: How opioid use is affecting your friends and family.”

In 2017 alone, 13 Brown County residents overdosed on opioids, resulting in the death of three residents. The hope is to make 2018 a better year, but research indicates opioid addiction and overdose is still increasing. Although there is no straightforward answer to addiction, we hope this information session will help you answer the question, “Why?” and assist you in talking to your loved one about their disease.

If you feel you or your loved one are at risk for an opioid overdose please email or call our Opioid Crisis Response Team.
