Two-day Training | July 14 & 21 | CEUs Available
Centerstone is offering a two session training to help clients deal with grief and loss. These trainings will be presented by Julie Bailey, LCPC, clinical manager at Centerstone. Both Session 1 and 2 will be offered via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Training Sessions 1 and 2 are intended to support the service provider’s ability to support clients in the process of grief. Given that our communities are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals and families are impacted by death and dying at an alarming rate. Supporting clients during their time of grief is critical as grief goes beyond death and dying to also include any event, which the person perceives as being a loss that was outside of their control (employment, relationships, etc). Grief is something that all people will experience and therefore having a greater understanding of the mourning process will add to the professional skills possessed by service providers.
