DESCRIPTION:Register For The Online Training\n*This session is intended for residents of Tennessee. \nRegister For The Online Training \n  \nSynopsis of Training:\nThis live training focuses on providing telehealth utilizing Motivational Interviewing as an intervention.  Participants will learn the philosophy behind Motivational Interviewing and which clients would benefit from this intervention.  The training will focus on the core interventions knowns as OARS\, including open ended questions\, affirmations\, reflections and summary.  This training qualifies for one hour of CE credit. Participants will have a chance to complete an evaluation at the end of the training to obtain a CE certificate.   \nLearning Objectives: \n\nIdentify the philosophy behind Motivational Interviewing\nUnderstand which clients would benefit from Motivational Interviewing \nLearn the 4 tools utilized in Motivational Interviewing known as OARS \n\n  \nReferences:\nMiller\, W. R.\, & Rollnick\, S. (2013). Motivational interviewing: Helping people change (3rd edition). Guilford Press. \n  \n \nThe Centerstone Research Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider\, ACEP No. 7204.
