The BNI is a structured short evidence-based conversation often used by healthcare professionals to help patients recognize risky behaviors and motivate them to change. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nDescribe core elements of a Brief Negotiated Interview (BNI)\nIdentify best practices within a BNI\nExplain how a BNI can prompt behavior change\nExplain unique considerations for a BNI with adolescents or caregivers\n\n  \n \nThe Centerstone Research Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider\, ACEP No. 7204.
