The BNI is a structured short evidence-based conversation often used by healthcare professionals to help patients recognize risky behaviors and motivate them to change. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nDescribe core elements of a Brief Negotiated Interview (BNI)\nIdentify best practices within a BNI\nExplain how a BNI can prompt behavior change\nExplain unique considerations for a BNI with adolescents or caregivers\n\n  \n \nThe Centerstone Research Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider\, ACEP No. 7204. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Centerstone Research Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of programs.
