As Chief Operating Officer, emeritus, Barry Hale works on behalf of the enterprise on special projects and initiatives improving organizational quality, efficiencies, effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
Barry joined Centerstone in 2008 as Vice President for Business Development at which time he oversaw Centerstone’s merger with Indiana-based Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) and Quinco Behavioral Health Systems.
Prior to joining Centerstone, Barry served as Chief Executive Officer of Quinco Mental Health Centers, headquartered in Bolivar, TN. During his career, he also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Health Service Initiatives, Inc., a health and human service consulting company based in Jackson, TN. He has served on the boards of Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations, Behavioral Health Initiatives, Caldwell Homes and the Western Mental Health Institute Board of Trustees.
Barry has also been a regular contributing member of the Region VI Mental Health Planning Council and St. Mary’s Catholic Church Finance Council. He has been a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1981.
He received his bachelor’s in sociology from the University of Memphis and his MSSW from the University of Tennessee’s School of Social Work.
