Bloomington, Ind.—The City of Bloomington and BEAD present an “Art of Mental Health” exhibit showcasing work from Centerstone artists. The exhibit, “America,” will be on display through the month of July in the City Hall Atrium (401 N. Morton Street—Bloomington). On Wednesday, July 22, 2009, a reception will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at that location with brief remarks by Mayor Mark Kruzan at 4:30 p.m. Refreshments and crafts will also be offered by Centerstone’s Club Horizon’s members. “The Art of Mental Health” is a collaborative project that strives to share and celebrate the connections between emotional well-being and creativity, and using this bridge to understanding and health, now offers events throughout the year sponsored by a wide range of community groups and agencies to further that goal.
