Nashville, Tenn. — Centerstone, the largest behavioral health care provider in Tennessee, announced the promotion of Ramona Rhodes to director of marketing and public relations, according to Centerstone President Bob Vero.
As director of marketing and public relations, Rhodes is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, including organizational branding, media relations, and all internal and external communications. She will oversee all advertising development, writing, editing, graphic design, reporting of statistical information, and the development of corporate marketing materials and promotional items.
“Ramona has worked diligently to cultivate Centerstone’s visibility and reputation as a market leader in behavioral healthcare,” said Vero. “We are honored to reward her dedication and diligence, and we look forward to even greater things to come under her exemplary guidance.”
Rhodes joined the Dede Wallace Center, co-founding agency of Centerstone, in 1989 as executive assistant to the president. She also served in the positions of development associate and promotions and communications coordinator at the center before being named public relations manager for Centerstone in 1997.
A member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations, Rhodes received her Bachelor of Science Degree from David Lipscomb College (now Lipscomb University).
