Nashville, Tenn.—Centerstone, the nation’s leading not-for-profit provider of community-based mental health and addiction services, today announced that it will be a featured not-for-profit partner of the Hillsboro Village Art Walk on December 1.
The Hillsboro Village Art Walk is a monthly, family-friendly event hosted by the merchants of Nashville’s Hillsboro Village. Featuring local artists, bands, authors, food and more, the event is a fun, free way for people to experience this historic district of Nashville and learn more about the community and its non-profit organizations.
Centerstone will be the featured non-profit for the December event, which will have a holiday theme. Patrons will have the opportunity to make a toy donation or monetary gift to Centerstone Children Services in exchange for having their photo made with Santa.
“Each month we try to feature local, notable non-profits through the Hillsboro Village Art Walk,” said Duncan Ragsdale of Duncan Ragsdale Creativity and coordinator of the Art Walk. “We’re thrilled to partner with Centerstone for our December event because there’s no better time than the holidays to give back to our community – particularly to the children in our community.”
Centerstone offers a variety of services for children and adolescents, including general therapy and counseling, prevention programs, school-based counseling, intensive in-home treatment, family counseling and foster care, just to name a few.
The December Art Walk, which takes place on Thursday, December 1 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., is free and open to the public. Patrons are encouraged to bring a non-violent toy (e.g. no toy guns or swords) to be donated to Centerstone Children Services or a $10 suggested donation to have their photo made with Santa during the event.
