Centerstone will hold a grand opening event for its new outpatient facility in Cleveland, Tennessee, on June 1 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Providers at this 4160 North Ocoee Street location will offer traditional clinic-based therapy services as well as psychiatric evaluation and treatment for individuals suffering from mental illness or emotional disturbance.
The clinic opening marks an expansion of Centerstone services in Bradley County. The not-for-profit organization already provides the local area with Intensive In-Home Treatment for families, School-Based Therapy, Therapeutic Foster Care, prevention services and Health Link care coordination. Outpatient and court liaison services have also been provided by Centerstone from inside Bradley County Juvenile Court since 2016.
“Opening this facility allows us to better serve people in Cleveland and those in and around Bradley County,” said Ken Stewart, regional vice president at Centerstone. “Now residents can receive therapy closer to home—without having to drive to our Chattanooga clinic. And when needed, they can also benefit from prescribed medication to help better manage their mental health symptoms. We’re excited and honored to serve this community.”
The new Centerstone clinic includes 1,500 square feet of office space and plans to employ a full-time nurse practitioner and three full-time therapists on site.
Tours of the facility will be available at the grand opening event, which is a casual meet-and-greet with light refreshments and opportunities to meet the Bradley County staff and other Centerstone mental health leaders from the company’s Chattanooga, Cookeville and Nashville offices. Local state and education representatives are also scheduled to attend. The official ribbon cutting will be at 2 p.m.
