Mental Health America of Indiana will hold its Heroes for Recovery luncheon on December 14 in Indianapolis. Heroes for Recovery celebrates commitment of those who support those in ongoing treatment of mental illness and addiction disorders.
Centerstone Indiana’s Darrah Wilson of the Child, Youth and Family Services, was nominated!
Darragh Wilson works for Centerstone at our North Vernon location. She’s been with the team for approximately 6 years. Her supervisor, David Heilman says, “Darragh always goes above and beyond what her expectations have always been. She is recognized in other counties and by everyone in the company for how well she does her job and how often she stands out. Darragh has been nominated for her commitment to customer service and the community. She is involved in countless committees (prevent child abuse council, Jennings County Community Partners for Health, Drug and Alcohol Task Force, Prevent Child Abuse Jennings County, Child Abuse prevention team, J.C. Cares Recovery Rally, Hands of Hope).”
He continues, “Darragh is often creating networks and steps and establishes connections to help connect others to help make a difference. She’s always someone we can count on and she is the definition of a team player. She helps organize his events and is always the first one there to help set up and the last one there helping to clean up. One of greatest needs in this community is working with our addiction population and Darragh make sure that they’re not neglected or given up on. She is a great example of all social workers and is a great representation of Centerstone.”
Well done, Darragh!
