Nashville, Tenn. — Centerstone, Middle Tennessee’s leading provider of behavioral health services, has announced the addition of longtime healthcare executive and information technology expert Pete Biagioni as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Biagioni will be instrumental in ensuring that Centerstone continues to pursue and incorporate the latest technological advancements in the service of improved patient outcomes. Biagioni has more than 20 years of experience in the field of healthcare information systems and technology, including extensive work with behavioral health organizations.
In his new role with Centerstone, Biagioni is responsible for the strategic and operational development and deployment of the organization’s management information systems, products, services and technical infrastructure. Specifically, Biagioni will oversee advancement of Centerstone’s technological capabilities by integrating new technologies and developing strategic alliances with leading technology pioneers.

Since 2001, Biagioni has been Managing Partner and founding member of Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting, LLC in Little Rock, Ark. He was president of Exante Health in Arlington, VA, from 2000 to 2001, and general manager of FHC Health Systems, Inc. in Falls Church, VA, for the five years prior. From 1993 to 1995, he was a consultant for Technology Management, Inc., of Indianapolis. Biagioni was senior vice president and chief information officer for Value Options, Inc. of Arlington, CA, from 1991 to 1993. Early in his career, he spent several years at Deloitte and Touche in Cincinnati; Heritage Health Systems in King of Prussia, PA; CIGNA Healthplan in Chicago; and The Principal Financial Group in Dallas. Biagioni received his B.S. in Business from Indiana University, and is certified by the Health Insurance Association of American (HIAA).
