As a Revenue Cycle Manager at Shared Services, Julie oversees all billing operations in the revenue cycle department. Her responsibilities include ensuring proper billing is completed and reconciled daily, ensuring billing issues are identified and corrected, and ensuring insurance companies are paying Centerstone according to contract. She takes great pride in the team work, attitude and effort exhibited by each member of her team.
Julie has worked for Centerstone for two years. Before joining us she spent 10 years managing medical billing for the physicians at Hardin Memorial Hospital. Her co-workers value her billing knowledge, leadership skills, and positive attitude. “We appreciate Julie’s responsiveness and willingness to jump right in to assist with identified issues, answer questions we may have or to just provide education about her area of expertise,” writes Scott Hesseltine, Vice President of Addiction Services. “She is a collaborative partner and support who can explain complex information in a way that leaders can not only understand, but can use with their teams to ensure we are providing services in a manner that leads to clean claims.”
Julie is engaged and has two sons and a daughter, as well as, two soon-to-be stepsons. Their family also has two dogs: Molly, a Golden Doodle, and Odie, a Boston Terrier. She is currently working towards completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors doing yard work and planting flowers, reading, spending time with her family, making jewelry, napping, and watching UK sports!
