Centerstone will host a reception and public announcement on Wednesday, June 2 at Legislative Plaza to launch Centerstone’s Career Resource Center. Media are encouraged to attend.
Through a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Centerstone’s Career Resource Center will offer healthcare education opportunities, job training, employment placement assistance and support services to 600 people in five Middle Tennessee counties: Bedford, Coffee, Lawrence, Marshall and Maury. Middle Tennesseans who are unemployed or underemployed now have a resource for training and employment assistance in the growing healthcare industry thanks to Centerstone, Centerstone Research Institute and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Local and state government leaders, including state senators, state representatives and local government officials such as Marshall County Mayor, Joe B. Liggett; Wayne County Executive, Jason Rich; and Centerstone CEO, Bob Vero.
