License Plates Available – Proceeds Benefit Veterans and Service Members

August 12, 2016

Centerstone Military Services (CMS), along with the support of Soldiers and Families Embraced (SAFE) and Tennessee State Senator Dr. Mark Green, has created special license plates in honor of United States veterans and current military service members.

Before these license plates can go into production, the State requires at least 1,000 preorders. Payment will not be collected until at least 1,000 orders are reached. The license plates will cost $35 each and will feature seven distinctive designs recognizing different service roles, including:

General Support
Combat Action, Airforce
Combat Action, Army
Combat Action, Coast Guard
Combat Infantryman, Army
Combat Medical, Army
Combat Action, Navy and Marine

All proceeds will be divided between Centerstone Military Services and SAFE in order to support the provision of mental health services for veterans, service members and their loved ones.

For Combat Infantryman, Combat Medical and Combat Action badge plates, individuals will have to supply proof (DD214) to the Tennessee Department of Revenue that they were awarded this badge. Non-Tennessee residents also have an opportunity to support this initiative by sharing this information on social media sites via Twitter or Facebook.
