Red Oak Industries Names Shannon Castetter Executive Director

Columbus, Ind.—Red Oak Industries, a non-profit organization that creates lasting employment opportunities for people with psychiatric disabilities, today announced that Shannon Castetter has been named its Executive Director. In her new role, Castetter will oversee all of Red Oak’s operations and explore opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and grow its customer base.

With an integrated workforce of both disabled and non-disabled employees, Red Oak Industries provides many services to businesses in central and southern Indiana including commercial and specialty cleaning and remanufactured toner cartridge distribution. Red Oak is jointly owned by Centerstone, a not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of mental health and addiction services across Indiana, and Adult & Child Community Mental Health Center, a mental health services provider that serves Indianapolis and central Indiana.

“Shannon is a wonderful addition to the Red Oak team,” said Bob Siegmann, Vice President of Healthcare Integration, Lean Sigma, Addictions, and Red Oak Industries at Centerstone. “She brings to our company a history of managing residential facilities for people with mental illness and addiction, and overseeing community special services teams. This experience coupled with her passion for our employees and clients will be a great asset to our company as we look to further our employment and business opportunities.”

Prior to joining Red Oak Industries, Castetter was assistant manager of residential services at Centerstone, where she oversaw four residential group homes and a group of case managers in south central Indiana. An integral member of the Centerstone team since 1997, Castetter has held several other positions at the organization including house coordinator, day therapy staff specialist, and case manager.

Castetter holds a bachelor’s degree and Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University-Purdue University in Columbus.
