Regional Conference On Crisis Intervention In Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. — Centerstone, Tennessee’s leading provider of behavioral health services, will host a regional conference on crisis intervention presented by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. (ICISF) on September 22-25 at Union Station Hotel in Nashville.

Participants can take up to two courses during the four-day conference. Seminar topics include:

  • Comprehensive crisis intervention systems
  • Suicide prevention
  • Violence in the workplace
  • Law enforcement perspectives
  • Line of duty death
  • Trauma
  • Substance abuse
  • Critical incident stress management applications with children
  • Comprehensive programs for families

Attendees will include law-enforcement officers, EMTs/paramedics, fire-fighters, healthcare professionals, transportation personnel, educators, mental health professionals, clergy, social workers, employee-assistance program staff, disaster assistance personnel, commercial and industrial organization employees, military and students and support personnel associated with these and many other fields. The ICISF conferences draw people from across the region and around the world.
