Nashville, Tenn. — Advantage Behavioral Health, a regional not-for-profit behavioral health managed care company, has announced the promotion of Sarah Hirsch to director of clinical care management, according to Brad Nunn, Ph.D., executive vice president and chief clinical officer. Advantage Behavioral Health is wholly owned by Centerstone, Tennessee’s largest provider of behavioral health services.
As director of clinical care management, Hirsch will lead Advantage’s clinical staff, work hand-in-hand with Advantage’s medical director and physician advisors and coordinate clinical care for all Advantage members. She will also oversee all of Centerstone’s triage services.
“As the primary liaison with physicians in our network, Sarah is the face of our organization in the medical community. Sarah plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective care and treatment of individuals receiving behavioral healthcare services,” said Nunn. “We are pleased to have someone with Sarah’s knowledge and experience fill this important role for Advantage.”
Hirsch joined Centerstone in 2002. Prior to her promotion, Hirsch served as Centerstone’s Clinic Manager for Dickson, Humphreys and Houston counties.
Hirsch received her associate’s degree in hospitality from Belmont University and her bachelor of science in education and counseling from Biola University in LaMirada, Calif. She received her master of arts in marriage and family therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif., and her master of business administration in healthcare management from the University of Phoenix. Hirsch is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the National Board for Certified Counselors. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, specializing in health psychology, at the Fielding Institute of Santa Barbara, Calif.
