Centerstone offers Eligibility and Disposition Assessment (EDA). Centerstone works with area police departments, Sheriff offices, and jails to help individuals who are not only experiencing a mental health crisis, but also in the custody of law enforcement officials.
Centerstone staff can go into juvenile detention centers, jails and police departments to assess individuals to see if they meet the criteria for inpatient hospitalization. If determined that the individual does need inpatient hospitalization, Centerstone staff work to get the individual placed at an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
EDA services are available 24/7/365, however placement may not be available until normal business hours of other agencies involved in the process.
EDA is available in Jackson and Perry counties.
