Welcome to the Psychiatry Residency Program at Centerstone in Bradenton, Florida! Thank you for your interest in our program based in Bradenton, Florida. We are excited to have you join our program, and we look forward to helping you develop the skills and knowledge you need to become a competent and compassionate psychiatrist.
Our program is based in a Community Mental Health Center, with a Self-Standing Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Hospital. We serve a diverse population, both in terms of ages, races, cultures, and social backgrounds. We offer services at different levels of care for children, adults, and our growing geriatric population, both in mental health and substance use treatment.
As a resident, you will be exposed to a wide range of clinical experiences, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research and other scholarly activities. Our program is committed to providing our residents with the best possible education and training. We have a strong faculty who are passionate about teaching and mentoring. We also have a supportive and collaborative environment where residents can learn and grow.
We are proud to be a part of the Centerstone family. Centerstone is a national organization that provides mental health and addiction treatment services to people of all ages. We have facilities in Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, and Indiana. We are also home to Centerstone’s Institute and the SIMS Center, which develops audiovisual materials for training of mental health providers.
