Wednesdays | 10 – 11:30 a.m. | Zoom
Group Overview:
This processing and skills-based group is designed specifically for the Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) community, including Black people, Indigenous people, and all other communities of color. We start with the understanding that racism is real and has detrimental effects on individuals and communities. Our focus is on addressing the stress and trauma caused by racism and its impact on mental health. Through learning, processing, conversing, and skill-building, we aim to facilitate restoration and healing.
Who Would Benefit:
This group is for adults (18+) from the BIPOC community who want to explore the connections between racial stress/trauma and mental health. It’s important to be open to working as a group and to hold space for strong emotions and diverse lived experiences. To participate in this group, you must be a Centerstone patient.
