Jana Greig appointed CEO of Centerstone’s Foundation

Jana Greig

Centerstone’s Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Centerstone, is proud to announce that its Board of Directors has unanimously selected Jana Greig as CEO-elect, with the intent for her to assume the CEO role following the retirement of current Foundation CEO, Ramona Rhodes, in June 2026.

Greig, a seasoned leader with a proven track record in philanthropy, brand strategy, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, currently serves as Executive Vice President of Administration for Brightli. She oversees the Brightli Foundation, marketing, communications, and systemwide strategic planning across multiple states. Under her leadership, Brightli’s philanthropic initiatives have scaled significantly, strengthening community trust and expanding the organization’s ability to serve vulnerable populations.

“Jana’s leadership, vision, and passion for advancing behavioral health will ensure that Centerstone’s Foundation continues to grow as a vital force for good,” said David C. Guth, Jr., CEO of Centerstone. “She brings not only expertise, but also a deep commitment to making mental health care accessible, effective, and sustainable for generations to come.”

Greig’s career has been marked by innovation and impact. She has successfully built resilient teams, expanded donor engagement, and guided organizations in creating philanthropic strategies that align with their missions. Her achievements have been recognized through honors such as Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 (2024) and Most Influential Women (2025). In addition, she serves as Vice Chair of the Board for Leadership Springfield and as a member of the Advisory Board for Adult & Teen Challenge USA.

As CEO-elect, Greig will work closely with Rhodes over the next several months to ensure a seamless leadership transition. Rhodes, who has led the Foundation as CEO since 2018, will retire in June 2026 after more than 35 years of dedicated service to the organization.

“I’m honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead Centerstone’s Foundation into its next chapter,” said Greig. “Philanthropy is where possibility meets progress. It opens doors to care today while driving the research and innovation that will shape tomorrow. Together with our donors, team members, and partners, we’ll keep building a future where everyone can access the help they need.”

Greig’s appointment to the CEO role comes amidst Centerstone’s merger with Brightli, a Springfield, Missouri-based organization whose subsidiaries and affiliates include Adult & Child Health, Burrell Behavioral Health, Clarity Healthcare, Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Firefly Supported Living and Employment Services, Places for People, Preferred Family Healthcare and Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health. Following the merger’s closing in early November, the Brightli Foundation will merge with Centerstone’s Foundation, creating a combined team of more than 25 fundraising professionals.

Centerstone’s Foundation exists to advance the organization’s mission of delivering care that changes people’s lives by securing charitable support for mental health and substance use disorder services, research, advocacy, and innovation.
