Mental Health Juvenile Justice
The MHJJ program provides specialized support for youth under 18 who are involved with, or at risk of involvement in, the juvenile justice system. Our goal is to connect these young individuals with mental health and social services to foster better outcomes and reduce future involvement with the justice system.
Program Highlights
- Youth Eligibility: Under 18, court-involved, or at-risk of juvenile justice involvement.
- Coverage: Medicaid billing; grant funding covers additional needs.
Our Services
Point of Contact
Our MHJJ Liaison serves as a dedicated bridge between the court system, probation, schools, and community resources.
Support for Referral Sources
Works closely with referral sources, educating and developing a streamlined referral process for at-risk youth.
Collaborative Care
Creates and monitors individualized treatment plans with youth, families, and referring sources for a comprehensive approach to care.
Ongoing Case Monitoring
Adjusts plans as needed to provide continuous support, reduce barriers, and link families to vital community resources.
