Substance Use – Outpatient
Addiction, also known as Substance Use Disorder (SUD), is a serious chronic health condition where use of a substance is uncontrolled to the point where it creates social problems or results in risky behaviors. The good news is: addiction is treatable. That’s why, at Centerstone, we’re committed to using evidence-based practice in our SUD treatment programs. With SUD treatment options for both adults and children, you can be confident in trusting us with your care.
Early Intervention
This program is designed to help youth, adolescents and adults who are at risk of developing life-impairing problems related to substance use due to behaviors in which they are engaging or because of environmental influences. Services are designed to assist these individuals in recognizing personal risk factors and to develop strategies and skills to manage the risks.
Intervention
Outpatient intervention services can include individual and group counseling sessions, meeting with peer support specialists who can use their personal experience to help you achieve recovery, or talking with someone who provides case management or wraparound services. This program is available for youth, adolescents and adults.
Intensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Services are for individuals who are recommended for substance use disorder treatment 9+ hours weekly to facilitate stabilization and support recovery. Individuals referred to Intensive Outpatient Services will participate in group and individual counseling, peer support specialists, case management or wraparound services. Intensive Outpatient Services can be utilized to facilitate a higher level of support and care when individuals are struggling to abstain from substance use or also as a step down from a more intensive treatment service.
