Synopsis of Training:
This course is designed to explore how practical ethical issues can impact mental health clinicians providing modern care, and strategies to navigate these often complex circumstances. The topic of counselor ethics will be explored using ethical values identified across professional organizations within the field, and applied to common ethical dilemmas which may come up for clinicians, including differences in political perspective from client(s), the intersection of money and mental health care, psychedelic therapy, legal mandates, etc.
Learning Objectives:
