Emotional Spring Cleaning

Emotional decluttering is about creating mental and emotional space by letting go of baggage and focusing on what truly matters-You.

Acknowledge Your Emotions
Instead of pushing your emotions away, spend time with them. Call them by their
name. Understanding the emotions you have is the first step towards processing them.

Practice Mindfulness
Become aware of your thoughts and emotions without judgement. This helps create distance between you and the feeling of being overwhelmed by your emotions.

Set Boundaries
Protect your energy and your peace. Learn when to say no. Emotional boundaries are necessary as they allow us the safety to value ourselves as well as distinguish those in our lives who don’t value us.

Let Go Of Perfectionism
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PERFECT! Embrace the reality that you will make mistakes and that those mistakes are not the end of your journey. Know that perfectionism can be a form of self-harm.

Practice Self-Compassion
Be gentle with you-especially when you’re experiencing challenges. Self-compassion
can help reduce emotional stress and make it easier to declutter negative emotions.
