Big Top Success

Hundreds of military families made lasting memories at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone in Clarksville, TN recently.
The clinic hosted its 3rd Annual Month of the Military Child Cohen Clinic Carnival on April 26th all in honor of our nation’s littlest heroes.
“The Carnival has become precious to me,” Meghan Williams, the clinic’s outreach director explained. “From the smiles on children’s faces as they shoot hoops with Austin Peay basketball players, to the wonder in their eyes during the magic show, to the pride they get when they send a volunteer plummeting in the dunk tank, the joy in this event is simply unmatched.”
Clinic Director Julie Adams agreed, “the carnival is special,” she explained. “Not only does the team come together to ensure the event is a success, but the entire community steps up, too. From sponsorships to game creators and vendors, this event showcases just how much love our community has for our service members and their families.”
Thanks to those community partners and sponsors the carnival had a true big-top feel, featuring more than 30 carnival games with prizes, magic shows, bounce houses, face painters, a dunk tank, a DJ and much more.
“A huge thank you goes out to everyone who made the day so festive and magical.” Adams said. “In the end, we welcomed more than 700 people to our 3rd annual celebration and each one left smiling. That is a win in every way.”
And perhaps, just one more way to deliver care that changes people’s lives.
