Come out to a community night to learn about IEP & 504 procedures and processes!
RIP will be providing a free three-hour information session about IEP and 504 education plans in CMCSS. We will discuss the process and procedures for K-5. Families will learn what requirements are, how to request these from the school system, their rights in advocating for their child and how to best seek help within the school system.
You will be able to ask questions, learn about the services within the school system and learn how to advocate for your child’s needs! There will be a short presentation about RIP and our services before the meeting.
Childcare will be provided for the first 15 families to sign up! Light snacks and drinks will be provided for parents and kiddos.
