Run or walk with us! Help support suicide awareness and prevention.
Life;Story is our annual event to join together in promoting community awareness and uniting in our desire to support people impacted by suicide and thoughts of suicide. Life;Story is held during Suicide Prevention Month (September) in Florida and Illinois and features an option to participate virtually.
The Life;Story name includes a semicolon – a punctuation mark that indicates there is more to come, unlike a period indicating the end. No matter how depression, anxiety or suicide has touched your life, we want everyone to know there is more to come – there is more to your Life; there is more to your Story.
In addition to community awareness, Life;Story proceeds provide mental health and addictions services at Centerstone for people who have little or no resources. Your participation will help save and change lives. We want everyone to continue their Life;Story – we want everyone to thrive!

Community Health and Wellness Expo
The Community Health & Wellness Expo is a great way for organizations and attendees to connect at Centerstone’s Life;Story Run/Walk event in September! Attendees can explore the latest in health-related services and resources and enjoy free giveaways. And expo partners can highlight their organization’s commitment to mental health and education.
The event is free for all those who attend Life;Story, but we kindly request that Community Health & Wellness Expo partners sign up for Illinois and Florida so we can reserve your space.
