A safe place for people in transition
Centerstone’s Stride Resource Centers provide a safe place for people seeking resources as they are in transition from hospitals or jails. Connecting people to local care and recovery resources, Stride Resource Center services can be accessed directly by people in need, first responders, law enforcement, social workers or concerned community members.
A calm place
Stride Resource Centers offer a calm place for individuals to de-escalate their situations, along with one-on-one consultation with professional staff, providing connection to:
- Trained mental health professionals
- Triage and crisis intervention
- Peer support and recovery coaching
- Naloxone (NARCAN) training
- Connections to shelter, food, clothing and other resources
Stride Centers provide diversion for individuals for up to 23 hours.
Our approach to care
Our staff is professionally trained in harm reduction, trauma-informed care and crisis intervention. The program is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and offers a safe, welcoming environment. Guests can stay at the center for up to 23 hours.
