Sexual Assault and Trauma Services

Centerstone is a certified Rape Crisis Center providing 24/7 on-call crisis response and trauma specific therapy. Sexual assault advocates provide crisis intervention counseling; information; referral and support throughout the recovery process; criminal justice advocacy; accompaniment to all court related interviews and hearings; assistance with filing crime victim compensation and sexual battery and human trafficking relocation assistance applications. Sexual assault therapy is provided by clinicians specializing in sexual assault and evidence-based trauma interventions. All victim advocates have Victim Service Practitioner designation through the Office of the Attorney General; therapists and advocates maintain Florida Council Against Sexual Violence yearly sexual assault specific training requirements.

Advocacy services are free and confidential.

2. Try to preserve all physical evidence; do not bathe, brush your teeth, douche, use the bathroom, eat, drink or change your clothes
