Medically-monitored Withdrawal Management (Detox)
Centerstone’s Fellowship House Campus, a treatment facility in Anna for those who suffer with substance use disorders and co-occurring problems, offers medically-monitored withdrawal management or detox for men and women, 18 years or older.
Available for men and women 18 years or older, our medically-monitored withdrawal management program provides a safe environment with professional assistance during the withdrawal of alcohol and other drugs. It also provides physical assessment, good nutrition, rest, screening for additional services and referrals to other programs when necessary.
Fellowship House’s medication regimen increases the comfort level of its detoxification clients.
We know there is a high level of fear around the withdrawal symptoms, and that you do not want to be sick as you begin your journey through recovery. We help our clients comfortably manage their withdrawal symptoms.
Fellowship House’s medication regimen includes medications for typical symptoms of withdrawal from a variety of drugs. Some of the symptoms treated include:
- Abdominal cramps
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Shaking or tremors
- Insomnia
- Anxiety
- Irritability
- Restlessness
- General aches and pains
- Tachycardia
- Hypertension
