Centerstone’s Mission to Serve Military Families
Centerstone’s Military Services exists to break down barriers to care often experienced by our nation’s service members and their families. We are committed to providing mental health services for our heroes— including active duty service members, members of the National Guard or Reserves, veterans, and military family members. We are proud to offer our care to members of the military community regardless of the era in which they served or discharge status.
Military Competency
We know being part of the military community is complex and that members of this community have unique life experiences and challenges. That’s why our counselors, therapists, and other providers are well-versed in military culture and competency. This means we are trained on how the military functions, cultural aspects of the military, and we know how to address common problems that face military community members.

Centerstone’s Military Services, has partnered with PsychArmor, the leader in military culture training, to achieve Veteran Ready Certification. By taking this step to offer enhanced training for employees, Centerstone’s Military Services is demonstrating its commitment to offering a more genuine connection and better support for those in military and Veteran communities.
Our Services
Centerstone understands the unique experiences of those affiliated with the military. We aim to break down barriers to care and specialize in treating conditions commonly faced by service members and veterans such as PTSD and anxiety. Centerstone’s Military Services provides a network of providers, peer support services and strong partnerships with the Cohen Veterans Network and Wounded Warrior Project to support active‑duty service members, Reserves, National Guard, veterans and their families nationwide.
We understand the hesitation to seek out care and the stigma surrounding mental illness in the military. An individual may feel that seeking help conflicts with their self‑image as a strong person or does the same to the image of their brothers and sisters in arms. Centerstone stands firm in the fact that mental health is vital to wellness and believes that there is strength in admitting when you need help.
Centerstone’s Military Services are available nationally through our professional network of telehealth providers, as well as in Centerstone clinics. Our services can help with a wide‑variety of mental health concerns and include:
- counseling
- therapeutic retreats
- couples and family counseling
- online support groups, classes and workshops
Family Members
Centerstone allows service members and veterans to define family members however they wish. This has the potential to include children, spouses, parents, unmarried significant others and more. Services include family, couple and individual counseling available in person or via telehealth.
