About our hiring process
Centerstone Illinois is a private, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare agency and has a structured hiring process in order to meet funding and compliance requirements. Our main administrative office is located at 902 W. Main Street, West Frankfort, IL. Whenever we accept applications outside of the agency, we advertise/post at the job service offices (through their online system), at universities, and at job placement offices. Jobs are also advertised in local newspapers as necessary. Jobs are posted at all agency facilities as well, on our website and on our agency phone system; they can be accessed by calling the agency number and pressing “4” from the main greeting.
For external positions, we advertise a date for application screening to begin and will accept applications at least through that screening begin date. Positions remain open until filled. Once the screening deadline has passed, management staff will begin reviewing applications for qualifications and experience and select candidates for interviews. When interviews, reference checks, and in some cases, job-related skills testing occurs, a recommendation regarding hiring the candidate best suited to the position is made to Leadership staff.
