Centerstone of Illinois is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
About our hiring process
Centerstone Illinois is a private, nonprofit behavioral healthcare agency and has a structured hiring process in order to meet funding and compliance requirements. Our main administrative office is located at 902 W. Main Street, West Frankfort, IL. Whenever we accept applications outside of the agency, we advertise/post at the job service offices (through their online system), at universities, and at job placement offices. Jobs are also advertised in local newspapers as necessary. Jobs are posted at all agency facilities as well, on our website and on our agency phone system; they can be accessed by calling the agency number and pressing “4” from the main greeting.
For external positions, we advertise a date for application screening to begin and will accept applications at least through that screening begin date. Positions remain open until filled. Once the screening deadline has passed, management staff will begin reviewing applications for qualifications and experience and select candidates for interviews. When interviews, reference checks, and in some cases, job-related skills testing occurs, a recommendation regarding hiring the candidate best suited to the position is made to Leadership staff. Candidates interested in learning disposition of vacancies may contact HR Director Kim Fleck at email@example.com.
The Application Process:
1. For Affirmative Action reporting purposes, Centerstone Illinois tracks applicant EEO information through our on-line application process (this information is separate from candidates’ applications).
2. Centerstone Illinois accepts applications for employment when there is a current job opening.
3. Centerstone Illinois accepts applications until screening begin date, at a minimum. Position is open until actually filled.
4. Reference information is required.
5. Status updated on Illinois vacancies should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: Centerstone recruits our para-professional (non-degreed staff) primarily through temporary employment agencies such as Extra Help, Placesmart, and Priority Staffing. If you are interested in these type of jobs–please register with one of these temporary staffing agencies and let them know of your interest in working with Centerstone of Illinois.
