Brigadier General (ret) Michael P. Fleming to Receive Prestigious Bronze Medallion for Humanitarian Service
Earlier this month, the Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation announced that Brigadier General (ret) Michael P. Fleming has been selected as one of six recipients nationwide to receive the prestigious Bronze Medallion for Humanitarian Service.
This honor is bestowed on General Fleming for his selfless service to his local community as well as impacting the broader regional, state, and national scale.
The award presentation will be held at The Chapel of The-High-Speed Pass, Cecil Field National POW/MIA site on February 3, 2023 at 10:00 am during the annual Four Chaplains Memorial Service.
February 3 will be the 80th anniversary of the sinking of the USAT Dorchester where four men of faith, all Army Chaplains, gave the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow man.
The guest speaker for the memorial service id the Honorable Mose L. Flyod, presiding Judge for the Veterans Treatment Court of Duval County.
The service is open to the public.
