Community Connections: Veggies for Vets

Our clinic team recently celebrated the Cohen Veterans Network Day of Giving by volunteering in the Veggies for Vets Garden, a program developed by Off-Road Outreach of North Carolina.

This community garden supplies homeless, at-risk, and low-income veterans with fresh fruits and vegetables. Our clinic team had a great time weeding, fertilizing, watering, and harvesting vegetables for area veterans to take home and enjoy.

Off-Road Outreach of North Carolina provides many services for homeless and at-risk veterans, including mobile showers, laundry service, food and clothing and assistance with housing, employment and other applications.
