Stacey Hudson is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Centerstone, the nation’s largest nonprofit behavioral health system. She provides strategic oversight and guidance across multiple human resources functions, including talent management, employee relations, benefits, payroll, compensation, leave management, and HRIS administration.
Before joining Centerstone, Hudson served as the CHRO for Brightli, where she provided executive leadership for HR strategy and operations across the organization. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles at Preferred Family Healthcare and also served as HR Director at Smithfield Foods. Hudson has built a track record of strengthening organizational effectiveness, enhancing employee engagement, and guiding HR teams through growth and transformation. She has been recognized for her ability to create collaborative HR teams and for her expertise in aligning workforce strategies with organizational goals. She is known as a trusted advisor on human resources, workforce development, and organizational design. In addition to her professional contributions, Hudson remains committed to mentoring future HR leaders and supporting initiatives that foster stronger workplaces and healthier communities.
Hudson is actively involved in her small community of La Plata, MO where she is actively involved in several community groups.
Hudson earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri. She also completed her Master of Business Administration at William Woods University. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential from the Society for Human Resource Management.
