Centerstone has announced the promotion of Carol Bean to vice president of finance and assistant treasurer.
In this role, Bean will oversee treasury operations, the accounts payable and payroll teams, financial planning and analysis, including the annual budget process and maintenance of the finance functions of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. She also serves as the finance officer for the administrative and shared services departments of Centerstone.
“Carol’s dedicated and tireless focus on serving our employees and management has brought great value during her tenure at Centerstone,” said Steve Holman, Centerstone’s chief financial officer. “Her years of financial experience and passion for the work we do will help us continue to deliver care that changes people’s lives.”
Bean joined Centerstone in 2014, and she has been instrumental in the formation of a finance team to support the company as it experienced significant growth during the past five years. Previously serving as Centerstone’s director of finance, Bean has more than 20 years of finance, accounting, and health care experience. Prior to joining Centerstone, she worked at Cigna, Coventry Healthcare, and Deloitte LLP.
She holds a BBS degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
