Kelly Bombardiere

Centerstone, a nonprofit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder services, has announced Kelly Bombardiere as its vice president of crisis services. In her new role, Bombardiere will lead the development of protocols and models of care of Centerstone’s enterprise crisis call center, National 988 Text/Chat Center, mobile crisis response teams, crisis stabilization and walk-in centers across its multi-state service area. Her duties include the scaling, integration, and quality of crisis services across the organization.

Bombardiere has more than a decade of experience in mental health and suicide prevention. In her career, she has built national service lines, a multi-state mobile crisis dispatch team and statewide 988 crisis call centers. She has also developed initiatives to address staff burnout and vicarious trauma and believes that supporting staff wellness is not only essential for their mental health but also directly impacts the quality of care provided to individuals in crisis.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue enhancing crisis response services for Centerstone,” said Bombardiere, “and to create innovative, compassionate care models that prioritize safety, healing, and recovery for our patients.”

Becky Stoll, Centerstone’s senior vice president of crisis services shared, “Kelly’s dedication to patient care and staff well-being has made a lasting impact on our crisis services team. Her incredible experience and leadership will elevate the way we deliver these life-saving services and lead to better outcomes for our patients.”

Bombardiere earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of West Florida and her master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare administration from the University of Southern Illinois. Bombardiere serves on the board of the National Association of Crisis Organization Directors and is a member of the American Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
