On The Line – Addressing Burnout and Staff Resiliency

This session is intended for residents of Tennessee.

 

Synopsis of Training:
This live training focuses on staff burnout, compassion satisfaction, resiliency skills, and workplace supports for clinicians. Participants will learn about the drivers of burnout from an individual and systems perspective. Participants will also learn about finding a work/life balance and how they can utilize their own resiliency skills. This training qualifies for one hour of CE credit. Participants will have a chance to complete an evaluation at the end of the training to obtain a CE certificate.

 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the concepts of burnout, secondary trauma, and moral injury.
  2. Identify the 6 drivers of burnout.
  3. Recognize symptoms of burnout.
  4. Learn about resiliency skills for health care professionals.
  5. Recognize stress-management behaviors and practices that allow for provider sustainability.

 

About The Trainer:

Christina Gillim received her Masters in Psychology from Lipscomb University and is currently working on her PhD in International Psychology with a concentration in Trauma. She has five years’ experience working in community mental health with individuals in crisis. Christina has also worked closely with the Metro Nashville Police Department providing trainings on Crisis Intervention. She joined the Clinical Education team at the Centerstone Research Institute in March of 2022. Her research areas of interest include complex trauma in children, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention.

 

The Centerstone Research Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7204. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Centerstone Research Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of programs.
