Centerstone announces the addition of Linda Rosenberg and five others to its board of directors
Centerstone, a national nonprofit provider of mental health and substance use disorder services, is pleased to announce the appointment of six new members to its board of directors.
Linda Rosenberg is joining the board for Centerstone’s Institute, effective July 2023. Rosenberg is a nationally prominent figure in the behavioral health space and has more than four decades of industry leadership experience. She currently serves as the executive director of external relations for Columbia University’s Department of Psychiatry where she works on strategic planning and execution, identifying and promoting program opportunities, as well as supporting federal, state, and local partnerships that advance the department’s clinical, research and training missions.
“I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to join the board of directors for Centerstone’s Institute,” Rosenberg said. “With innovations like artificial intelligence and other new technologies, Centerstone is poised to lead the industry in advancing data-driven practices and I’m excited to be a part of that important work.”
Prior to her current appointment, Rosenberg served as the president and chief executive officer for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the official trade association of the nation’s safety net mental health and addictions treatment organizations. Under her visionary leadership, the National Council experienced significant growth and became a leading voice in shaping policies and advancing evidence-based practices in behavioral health.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Linda is joining our board of directors,” said David Guth, Centerstone’s chief executive officer. “She brings a new caliber of expertise to Centerstone and we’re looking forward to seeing how she helps us amplify our impact on the greater behavioral health space.”
In addition to Rosenberg’s appointment, five others are joining the board of directors for Centerstone’s operations in Tennessee. Those new members include:
- Hannah Dudney, women’s health physician consultant, Tennessee Department of Health
- Jacob Giesecke, JD, member, Kaalberg Giesecke, PLLC
- Shane McSimov, co-founder and chief executive officer, XMTP Labs
- Jacob Tate, owner and principle broker, The Tate Brokerage
- Mary Wilson, community volunteer
Each board member is appointed to a renewable three-year term and serves in a voluntary capacity to provide Centerstone with the industry expertise, vision, and leadership needed to fulfil its mission of delivering care that changes people’s lives.
