What is vaping?

Vaping is the use of electronic cigarettes. E-cigarettes use a battery to heat up a special liquid that users inhale. This liquid usually contains nicotine and other harmful chemicals.

How does vaping affect me?

There are many health risks associated with the use of e-cigarettes. These include:

  • Irreversible lung damage
  • Harm to the developing brain
  • Cancer
  • Weakened immune system
  • Increased risk of heart attack or stroke
  • Injuries and poisonings
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Problems with sleeping
  • Addiction
  • Chronic bronchitis
