Taking Mental Health Outreach To South Carolina’s National Guard

On Saturday, Jan. 8, Matt Turner, LCSW, Assistant Clinic Director, and Sharjuan Burgos, Outreach Director, took mental health outreach on the road to service members and visited McIntyre National Guard Base in Eastover South Carolina.

During their visit, Matt and Sharjuan had the opportunity to brief installation leadership and service members on the services provided at The Cohen Clinic at Centerstone, including CVN Telehealth—mental health care offered through confidential video conferencing, which is shown to be equally effective as in-person therapy.
