PeerFit Helps Clients Improve Physical Health Along With Mental Health
May is Mental Health Month! This year’s theme from Mental Health America is Fitness #4Mind4Body. Centerstone Kentucky believes that fitness is important to good health and recovery, and tries to look at each person as a whole: mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. To that end, we offer a fitness center called PeerFit that offers all Centerstone Kentucky clients the opportunity to improve their physical health along with their mental health at NO COST. “PeerFit is dedicated to improving the health and longevity of people experiencing mental illness,” says Dr. Mindy Eaves, Unit Manager III for PeerFit. “Clients can ask for a referral to PeerFit today!”
