Who We Serve

Veterans & Active Duty – We serve post-9/11 veterans and anyone who has served in the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of discharge status, role while in uniform, or combat experience. We also treat active-duty service members with a TRICARE referral. Family – We serve the entire military family, including parents, siblings, spouses or partners, children, caregivers, and others of veterans and active-duty military.

Although we make a priority of serving post-9/11 veterans, each Cohen Clinic will assess all veterans based on their specific needs. We will make every effort to see pre-9/11 veterans who can be best served by our level of targeted outpatient care, based on clinician availability.

Our Services

Services are provided by culturally competent professionals trained to work specifically with veterans and their families. Veterans and their family members are able to receive services individually and as a family unit with the same treatment team.

The Cohen Clinic provides the following services:

Counseling for individuals, groups, couples, children, and families
Parent consultation
Case management and resource connection
Life skills and wellness groups
Telehealth services that allow access to all services from home or work
Transportation to and from appointments
On-site child watch to support families during clinic visits

The highly skilled clinicians at the Cohen Clinic treat a variety of behavioral health challenges, including:

Meet Our Team

Our Cohen Clinic at Centerstone team is led by experienced, culturally competent professionals who are trained to work specifically with veterans and their family members.

Scarlet Chancey, LPC – Clinic Director

Scarlet is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor in Georgia and South Carolina with over nine years of experience. A proud U.S. Army veteran, she brings a unique perspective to her work, specializing in Complex Trauma, PTSD, addictions, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. Scarlet employs a “wounded healer” approach, drawing from her personal journey of growth and resilience to deeply connect with her clients. She integrates psychodynamic and cognitive frameworks and utilizes therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Informed Care, CBT, DBT, EMDR, and more. Committed to supporting individuals through their struggles, Scarlet creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can heal, grow, and work toward their life goals with courage, acceptance, and empowerment.

Kelly Michaud, LPC, CPCS – Assistant Clinic Director

Kelly Michaud is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 15 years of experience. She is a Savannah native and dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care. Kelly works from a framework that honors cultural humility and recognizes the diverse and complex identities that shape everyone’s life. Her practice is rooted in an intersectional perspective. Kelly has experience working with both adults and adolescents in the home, community centers, in patient treatment, as well as with active-duty members of our military and their dependents on Ft. Stewart and in the public school system. Kelly deeply enjoys working with people in relationships, whether they’re navigating communication struggles, intimacy issues, or seeking growth together. In addition, Kelly has a solid background working with individuals who identify as part of the polyamory and kind communities. She approaches these experiences with a non-judgmental attitude, understanding that each person’s relationship dynamics are unique and deserve validation and support. Above all, Kelly will help you explore your concerns in a way that respects your autonomy and your lived experiences. Her goal is to support you in navigating life’s challenges while fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness, connection, and healing.

Annayi Bravo – Office Manager

Annayi Bravo is the Office Manager at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone in Hinesville, GA. With years of customer service experience, she ensures the office runs smoothly while making clients feel welcome, comfortable, and valued. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Arizona State University, Annayi is passionate about mental health advocacy and committed to improving the well-being of others. Originally from Houston, Texas, she grew up as the daughter of an active-duty U.S. Army service member, which allowed her to experience life from a military family’s perspective and fueled her desire to support military families. In her free time, Annayi enjoys relaxing with a good TV show or participating in activities with her church community. She is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Nygeria Greene – Office Coordinator

Nygeria was raised in Vidalia, Ga and comes from a family who takes pride in fighting for our country. She thrives on keeping things organized, running smoothly, and making sure the day-to-day details are taken care of so the whole team can focus on what they do best.

Outside of work, she takes pride in being an active mother and is deeply involved in her community. She hosts Bible studies and is a mentor for teens, which is something she is truly passionate about. It brings her so much joy to help guide and support others, both personally and professionally. She always aims to create a positive, encouraging environment where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Ashley Velez Marin – Office Coordinator

Ashley is originally from Puerto Rico and brings with her a deep desire to help the military community. She is currently completing her associate’s degree in human services, which she will complete in December of this year. Her main goal is to obtain her master’s degree in clinical social work and be a resource for her community. Additionally, she is bilingual in Spanish and a passionate advocate for minority communities. As a military spouse and mother of two, Ashley possesses firsthand insight into the unique challenges faced by military families and is committed to advocating for their well-being. Ashley has a strong desire to help people and providing excellent customer service to our clients. She firmly believes that mental health care within the military should be accessible and barrier-free for those who sacrifice every day for their nation.

Alicia Huff – Billing Coordinator

Alicia was born and raised in Clarksville. She has many family members who have served in the Armed Forces. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years and in behavioral health since 2015. As a parent of a child with autism, she feels working in this field is the best way to be an advocate. She has had the pleasure of working with many different physicians in Clarksville and she truly enjoys helping people and making sure they leave the office with a smile.

Jacqueline Goble, MFT – Intake Coordinator

Jacqueline is a compassionate and dedicated marriage and family therapist with experience in individual, couples, and family therapy. She is particularly passionate about using fun and engaging therapeutic interventions with families and children, helping them build stronger bonds and find joy in the process of healing and growth. As a proud military spouse of 15 years, Jacqueline brings a unique perspective to her work. Her deep connection to the military community has given her insight into the challenges faced by service members and their families, allowing her to provide empathetic and tailored support to those navigating transitions, deployments, and other life stressors.

Grace Milan, BA – Case Manager

Grace Milan, originally from Puerto Rico and currently stationed at Fort Stewart, GA, holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Puerto Rico. As a Case Manager, she has worked with trauma survivors, including those affected by domestic violence, children, veterans, and the elderly. Being bilingual in Spanish has allowed Grace to provide services to a broader population. As an active-duty military spouse, mother of three, and daughter of a retired Army veteran, she understands the challenges of military life and is a passionate advocate for the physical, mental, and emotional wellness of military families. Grace has led empowerment, self-esteem, and intimacy workshops for trauma survivors, schools, and couples. Her goal is to empower others to thrive while serving as a liaison to connect them with needed services. She believes there should be no barriers in mental health.

Theodore Allen, LPC – Therapist

Theo is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology from Alabama A&M University in 2018 and brings 11 years of experience as a Human Resources and Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Army. This blend of military experience and counseling training informs his holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy. Theo is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Anger Management Therapy, and serves as a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for couples counseling. He provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can manage stress, navigate transitions, heal from trauma, and improve relationships through empathy, active listening, and goal-setting.

Bridgette Cordova, LPC – Therapist

Bridgette is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in crisis, as well as adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and past trauma. Before joining Cohen Clinic, Bridgette worked in crisis stabilization, private practice, community mental health, and the Family Advocacy Program at Fort Stewart. As the wife of a combat veteran and mother of two, Bridgette understands the unique stresses that can affect military families. She is dedicated to helping members of the military community navigate these challenges. Bridgette is committed to creating a supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to express themselves, heal emotional and mental wounds, and develop the skills needed to overcome difficulties.

Joseph Folsom, LPC, RST, NCC – Therapist

Joseph Folsom is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Sand Therapist (RST), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and trained EMDR therapist. A proud double eagle, Joseph earned both his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. He brings extensive experience working across community mental health, private practice, school settings, and nonprofit organizations. Joseph provides therapy to children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals, specializing in trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and child and adolescent mental health. Joseph is the grandson of a U.S. Air Force veteran and carries a deep respect for military families, understanding the unique challenges they face. Known for his grounded and playful presence, he integrates play therapy, Jungian techniques, somatic practices, and interpersonal neurobiology into an experiential, client-centered approach. Joseph approaches therapy as both a sacred exploration and a creative process—where even the painful parts of being human can become doorways to transformation.

Brittney Durham, LMSW – Fellow

Brittney is a Licensed Mastered Social Worker with a trauma-informed background who has worked with children and families for 10 years. Brittney is passionate about helping others achieve their wellness goals. She obtained her Master of Social Work from Southern University of New Orleans and her Bachelor in Child and Family Studies from Nicholls State University. She has experience working with adolescents with disorders such as ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum, and trauma-related disorders. She also has experience working with adults with diagnoses like living with HIV, substance use, and other trauma-related disorders. Brittney is trained in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a treatment model. As a certified yoga instructor, Brittney acknowledges the power of mindfulness to promote mind and body connection and intuitiveness. Brittney believes in a collaborative approach to therapy to help patients move toward a path of healing.

Aaron Goletz, MSIT – Data Director

Aaron holds a Master of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis in Data Science. He is a veteran of the Army and the Tennessee National Guard. Aaron is passionate about supporting the noble work of Centerstone clinicians and staff as they provide life-saving care to our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and first responders.

Lisa Eggebeen, MSSW, LCSW – Regional Director

Lisa Eggebeen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of behavioral health experience, 12 of which have been with Centerstone of Tennessee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s in the Science of Social Work, and currently oversees the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations for the three Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics at Centerstone in Clarksville, TN, Jacksonville, FL, and Fayetteville, NC. She frequently conducts speaking engagements locally and nationally on an array of mental and behavioral health topics. Her professional experience has included both clinical and management responsibilities. Her clinical concentration includes assessment and diagnosis, trauma and traumatic grief and loss, individual and family therapy with children and adults, crisis response, suicide prevention, critical incident stress management, and mental health disaster response.
